DescriptionA printed drawing of the exhibition site and buildings in Dunedin; it indicates the location of the main entrance, gardens, concert hall, art gallery, Eiffel Tower, and Government House.History / BiographyThe New Zealand and South Seas Exhibition was opened on 26th November 1889 by Governor Onslow in Dunedin. It was located at a site between Crawford and Cumberland Street that extended from Jervois Street to Andersons Bay Road, with a 154 feet long facade featuring domes and towers. Public attendance had achieved a total of 628,458 when the exhibition closed on 19th April 1890.
