History / BiographyThis photograph was reproduced in the Plunket News magazine, Vol. 2 No. 23 (December 1961). It is captioned 'Dominion President, Mrs H. J. Ryburn, has an arduous task of administration which involves a great deal of travelling. But, first and foremost, she is a loyal committee member at North-East Valley, Dunedin. No Valley effort goes ahead without her whole-hearted co-operation; no task is too menial, from collecting subscriptions to cleaning windows at the new rooms opened this year by North-East Valley.
