The couple were known as Joe and Sadie Holland. Joe was a fruiterer and confectioner and had a store at Ravensbourne in the 1930s and 1940s. Between 1952 and 1967 Joe and Sadie operated Holland's Fruit Shop at Forbury Corner, Dunedin. Their son, Errol Holland, worked for W.H. Gregg and Company, and lived in the Cook Islands for a period in the late 1960s.ProvenanceDonated by Errol Holland in 2014 and 2019.
