The album includes many photographs of vehicles, including cars, W.H. Henderson's business truck and tourist buses, taken on road trips around the South Island. There are photographs of a number of disasters in the form of a train crash in Timaru dated 1927, numerous car crashes and flooded roads around the Leith in Dunedin. The album also includes six panoramic postcards of Dunedin published by the Tanner Bros and two photographs of dogs on show as part of the Byrd Antarctic Expedition visit to Dunedin.
