There are papers relating to conferences and audiocassette tapes of presentations made at the 1986 conference. There are also publications and historical material, including files of information on distinguished alumnae and staff. There is also a large collection of photographs, most of which appear to have been assembled for the 75th Jubilee of the Home Science School. Also in the collection is a signed banner presented to Dr Gregory by the Christchurch branch of the Alumnae.

It arranged regular refresher courses and conferences for alumnae, and published a journal. The association closed in 1990.
