Having trained as a doctor, he worked at the Methodist mission in the Solomons from 1927-1934 where he carried out field work in the treatment of malaria.ProvenanceThe album was presented to Dr E.G. Sayers when he left the Solomon Islands in 1934, having worked there at the Methodist Mission since 1927.
