T.A. Pybus. There are images of churches, congregational picnics, portraits of ministers and their families. There are also photographs of coal mining at Denniston and royal jubilee celebrations at Marton in 1897, and some cityscapes and landscapes. Provenancedd Dunedin Public Library, 1990. The contents suggest this album probably belonged to Rev. Arthur Pybus, whose daughter, Lucy, gifted archives to the Dunedin Public Library in the 1970s. Arthur Pybus spent nearly all of his younger years at Masterton, worked in Cheviot, Westport and Wellington (Newtown) at the beginning of his ministry, and spent five years in Invercargill before moving to Dunedin.
