There are good street scenes and photographs of notable buildings such as churches, post offices, hotels, railway stations and schools at Naseby and Ranfurly. A number document the Duke of York's visit to Ranfurly. Other subjects include the Central Otago Railway, heavy snow in Central Otago, gold sluicing at St Bathans, dredging at Skippers, the Waipiata Sanatorium, the New Zealand and South Seas Exhibition in 1925-1926, Dunedin wharves and Dunedin streets by night.
