DescriptionA poster to promote emigration to New Zealand.
There is a note written in black ink in Dr Hocken's hand in the bottom left corner: "Though the N.Z. Company in 184[? portion missing] set up an influential committee in Dublin including the Lord Mayor, Archbishop Whateley, & the Provost of Trinity College but little Irish emigra-tion left for New Zealand - the flow being to America.
