DescriptionA poster to promote New Zealand's participation in the Pacific during World War II.History / BiographyThe New Zealand Legation was opened in Washington, D.C., United States of America in 1942. Geoffrey Cox was appointed as its First Secretary and Walter Nash was appointed as the first Minister of New Zealand to the United States. In 1948 the status of the legation was raised to an embassy.
