There are photographs recording the visit of Robert Falcon Scott to Port Chalmers in 1910, and also images from England in the year 1900-1909 including members of George Chance's family and a view of Regent Street, London, 1907 showing the London Stereoscopic and Photographic Company. The album is rich in social detail particularly of costume in the years 1912-1920 and contains some interior domestic views.
